I’m ecstatic to share my Game of Thrones Premiere Party reveal. I set out to transform my apartment into a scene from HBO’s hit series, and I think I nailed it! As guests entered the apartment, tunes from the Game of Thrones soundtrack filled the air. The apartment was dimly lit by warm candlelight to resemble the lighting of a medieval castle. Guests were welcomed with a bountiful table setup to look like a feast from the “Red Wedding”. Front and center was my five foot custom designed wooden table runner, made by Lauren Gordon.
I enlisted the help of the amazingly talented Mariah Scott to curate my charcuterie board. She was the feature chef for the evening. Here’s what her meat and cheese board looked like.
Mariah also did her own version of one of the popular dishes in the show- Pigeon Pies! She hand made mini pies filled with chicken, potatoes and mushrooms, and a homemade stock. They were delicious!
I had a gorgeous “Red Wedding” inspired cake handmade by the talented Safa Ahmad. This cake was the center of my tablescape. We topped the cake with a gold crown to complete the look.
I partnered with oriental Trading Company for a ton of my decor details. They provided my mini photo frames, floating and taper candles, votive holders, and mini lanterns. I painted the frames and lanterns gold to match my decor. I love their selection of products. You can get a ton of items for such a great price, all in one place.
I had Dead Ned Cake Pops made by Not Jus’ Donuts Bakery. They were a delicious red velvet flavor. I also created a signature cocktail for the event that we called The White Walker.
Our guests participated in a fun game of trivia to kickoff the season premiere. The winner received a prize pack of goodies.
My guests were completely blown away by all the hard work and effort put into this event. I’m told it’s the most talked about premiere party among all of their friends.
