It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of HBO’s hit series, Game of Thrones! I have been having major withdrawals since the show’s last season aired, so I decided to host a Game of Thrones Game Night. I invited over some of my friends to play a game of trivia and took it to the next level. These ideas will be a treat for true Game of Thrones fans. Check out these awesome party ideas to host an amazing Game of Thrones Game Night.
Jamie Lannister’s chopped off hand made an appearance at my party! I’m sure you remember that episode, and to pay homage to it I purchased a polyresin jewelry holder from Amazon and spray painted it gold(source linked below). I used it as a display for my custom-made medals.
Yep, that’s right – no party is complete without the proper award. I purchased personalized medals from Oriental Trading Co. for the winning team. Each team member got their very own medals to take home, along with bragging rights of course.
THE WHITE WALKER SIGNATURE COCKTAIL
The signature cocktail was a crowd favorite and I had guests asking for more! This cocktail was super easy to make and so refreshing. I can’t wait to share the recipe soon! You’ll be shocked at how simple it is to make, and best of all, it only takes 3 ingredients.
To keep it super simple I ordered wings and pizza for everyone to enjoy. In keeping with the theme, I decided to do wing shots. I skewered wings onto little sword toothpicks(source linked below) and placed them on top of shot glasses filled with a dipping sauce. These were easy for guests to eat while mixing and mingling without having to carry a plate around. I setup small bites on my island with themed dipping sauces and booze.
We all know of the infamous Wall in Game of Thrones! My talented friend Safa Ahmad, created The Wall out of brownies and it was a hit. She baked the entire thing and hand frosted it and added the most amazing little touches to resemble the actual Wall from the show. If we beg her, we could probably get her to share an exclusive recipe with my Insiders. What do you guys think- would you like to know how she made it?
We had such a blast playing the Game of Thrones Trivia. The game was so much fun and so was the party! It was the perfect way for us GoT fanatics to cope with having to wait another year for the final season. These party ideas were a hit and I’m hoping you all will try them out at your premiere parties next year.
